Eucerin Advanced Repair Hand Cream, $4.99

“I would recommend this cream especially for those with dry skin because it contains multiple ingredients that moisturize skin,” says board-certified dermatologist (and founder of 5th Avenue Aesthetics) Dr. Marie Hayag. “It has ceramide-3, which is involved in keeping the skin’s moisture barrier hydrated and healthy. It also has urea, which helps improve the skin barrier’s function and provides moisture and elasticity. Plus, the formula is non-greasy and absorbs quickly.”

Skinfix Eczema+ Hand Repair Cream, $18

This is another popular derm-approved pick.

“I highly recommend this cream for those with eczema or irritated, sensitive skin,” says Hayag. “The formula is fragrance-free, non-greasy and it also absorbs quickly. The colloidal oatmeal in it helps reduce inflammation and soothe sensitive skin. Plus, the sweet almond oil in this cream has fatty acids that nourish skin, helping your hands stay moisturized and soft.”

“Especially good for eczematous hands,” says Dr. Ranella Hirsch, co-founder of Atolla. “Colloidal oatmeal (helps itch) and shea butter hydrate.”

“Hand Repair Cream stands on its ingredient list alone. Colloidal oatmeal combined with allantoin, aloe and sweet almond oil really hydrate those peeling, painful cuticles,” says Board-Certified Dermatologist Dr. Rita Linkner of Spring Street Dermatology. “I put this one by my kitchen sink for after I do dishes. It really locks back in moisture that gets easily stripped this time of year.”
