You are not alone, as oily skin is the most common concern for most of men and women because it is the most challenging to manage oily skin especially when you have acne. Our skin becomes oily when there is overproduction of sebum, an oily or waxy matter, secreted from sebaceous glands, located under the surface of the skin. Sebum protects and moisturizes the skin and keeps hair shiny and healthy. But, too much sebum leads to oily skin, which can result in clogged pores and acne. The sebum production increases because of stress, hormonal changes and genetics.

Here, we give you some useful remedies that you can try at your home to reduce the symptoms of oily skin:

If you want to treat acne and oily skin with honey, spread a thin layer of raw honey onto the face then let it dry for about ten minutes and after that rinse it thoroughly with slightly warm water.
